About the studio

We teach the decisions behind the drawing.

Our story

Peteevolution Studio began as a small critique circle for artists who wanted more useful feedback and less performance. It grew into a structured learning studio where observation, experimentation, and reflection share equal space.

Mission

Help people develop a durable visual voice through clear instruction and meaningful practice.

Core values

Observation first

Every line starts with looking. We train attention before technique.

Iterate openly

Mistakes are data. We encourage rapid cycles of drawing, review, and revision.

Voice over perfection

A consistent personal language matters more than flawless execution.

How we teach

Week 1–2

Slow looking labs

Students spend extended sessions drawing single objects to rebuild observational habits.

Week 3–5

Iteration sprints

Rapid series of 20-drawing challenges with daily group feedback sessions.

Week 6+

Voice project

Each participant compiles a personal series with one-on-one editorial guidance.

Begin with the question you keep drawing around.
